The Secondary Marketing Trading Group is responsible for hedging activity with the intent of reducing the risk inherent in the Mortgage Banking business while attempting to maintain Chase's pricing profile in the top half of the national and regional competition. Our team's objective is to maximize the mortgage origination volume while protecting the fair market value of the loans originated for sale. This role is for the Capital Markets Group of Chase Mortgage Banking. This position directly supports the Secondary Marketing Trading Activities with visibility and interaction with Senior Executives within the Mortgage Bank.

The Fee Unit Operations Manager plays a critical role within the Asset Management Group (AMG), overseeing the accurate calculation and processing of fees for services provided to both Institutional and Private Bank clients. The manager will lead a team responsible for fee setup, maintenance, validation, and exception handling across multiple systems, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with internal standards.

Team Leadership & Development:

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.

As a Debit and ATM Product Risk Manager within Risk Management and Compliance, you will challenge product teams by applying a risk-focused perspective and escalating key topics to senior leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to assess and mitigate risks in deposit products and related services. Your role empowers you to influence product development while maintaining independence and objectivity. Job Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of deposit product features, functionality, and related services
Deliver risk assessments and credible challenge in partnership with cross-functional teams
Meet regularly with product development partners to advise and maintain independence
Identify strategic, liquidity, operational, and reputational risks in emerging products and services
Evaluate new concepts or modifications to ensure risks are identified and controlled
Apply bank policy and external regulations, escalating issues to Compliance and Legal partners
Represent the interests of internal stakeholders in risk management
Stay informed on marketplace changes, including technology, products, and threats
Deconstruct and explain complex concepts to senior and executive management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of experience in financial services, consulting, technology, or related field
Experience with digital or mobile banking, payments, or emerging technologies
Familiarity with agile development methodology
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to defend positions using quantitative analysis with analytical teams
Effective collaboration with business and technical individuals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong emotional intelligence and influencing skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with process engineering and root cause analysis

+ Recruit new staff from internal and external sources.
+ Monitor and encourage continuing education specific to the essential duties and skills required for staff.
+ Develop work assignments that are challenging, meet established goals and improve work processes.
+ Ensure ongoing communication of organizational activities so that issues are identified and addressed.
+ Provide clear communication on performance evaluation and career development.
+ Ensure that policy/procedural changes are clearly communicated to staff on a proactive and timely basis.
+ Develop policies and implement procedures to ensure External Regulatory Reports are prepared in compliance with reporting standards and filed in a timely manner.
+ Coordinate the compilation of regulatory report instructions, guidance and reference materials.
+ Develop reporting policies that ensure compliance with reporting instructions, identify reporting sources and outline procedures used to complete the reporting process.
+ Implement procedures that ensure compliance with the rules and standards issued by the regulatory agencies for accurate completion of regulatory reports.
+ Review completed reports for technical accuracy, completeness and historical comparability.
+ Consult with organization members to provide technical regulatory guidance and gain an understanding of new business activities that may impact Regulatory Reporting.
+ Participate in organizational projects related to new business activities and proactively engage others to gain an understanding of existing business processes.

+ Review technical regulatory subject matter to serve as the organization's Regulatory Reporting subject-matter expert.

+ Review proposed regulatory reporting changes in order to provide comments on the application of the proposals to the organization.
+ Responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate relationships with the Regulatory Agencies.
+ Ensure effective communication is maintained between the regulatory staff and the Agencies.
+ Ensure that Agency inquiries are promptly responded to and technical issues are communicated to the Agencies for interpretation and opinion.
+ Assist in Regulatory Examinations by providing historical data, work-papers and detailed explanations when applicable.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees accomplishments.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or equivalent work experience required.
+ CPA Required.
+ Minimum of 10 years of accounting related experience.
+ Banking or accounting related experience required.
+ Supervisory experience preferred.
+ Proficient in spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, etc. Demonstrate ability to learn and understand mainframe systems.
