The ACH Operations team in Enterprise Payments is seeking an experienced, highly motivated process and people manager with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ACH as well as people management, with experience leading multiple teams across different geographical sites.
This individual needs to enjoy problem solving, collaborating, and cultivating high performing teams. This role will manage teams within ACH Operations handling very distinct functions within the ACH workflow. The individual will work closely with other ACH Operations people managers as well as with partners and stakeholders throughout the organization. Job Description & Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrate strong people leadership skills
Effectively lead and manage team(s) across multiple sites, including: New York and Virginia
Focus on continuous development of self and team
Manage the daily operations of the team(s)
Build a highly engaged and inclusive culture across operational boundaries
Build relationships and effectively influence Business Partners (e.g., Treasury Management, Product Management and Sales leaders within Capital One Bank) to define and drive process improvements, and partner effectively across other lines of business (e.g. Credit Card, Consumer Bank, Financial Services, etc.)
Collaborate to deliver on requirements of industry/regulation standards to critical business processes, including adherence to guidelines and standards that are compliant to Capital One Bank's governance framework
Build and maintain appropriate metrics, quality assurance, and capacity planning to identify and mitigate operational risk exposures and drive process excellence within the business
Provide frequent reports and updates to Commercial Operations leadership including appropriate and timely escalation of issues, SLA misses, violations, etc.
Working knowledge of ACH network and payments, practices, processes and technologies
Prior experience in a regulated banking environment
Strong people management skills required to lead and teams in geographically dispersed locations
Evidence of training and mentoring team members, as well as recruiting new talent
Effective negotiation and influencing skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze organizational and process issues related to ACH operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise strategies to business specific initiatives

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
