Capital One has a great work environment. The management team is very accessible, all the way to the top (at my location), I never tried to go higher. They are above average in pay for simular call center jobs, and offer excellent benefits. Because they value a great customer experience, they encourage and train towards empathy, compassion and make very reasonable solutions available to offer to their customers
Details about how calls are handled can change at a moments notice. If you're told to stop saying that, and say this instead, it can negatively impact your monthly bonus while you are getting used to the change.
I liked having access to legal advice. As a single mom with custody issues, I was able to ask questions, to plan a strategy 'just in case'.
Bonus structure, paid time off
Collection straight outbound collections towards the end
Time off and bonuses
Researching the job and seeing what type of duties were comparable to what I was currently doing, research the department and found out information prior to the interview
In my experience capital one compared to the industry average, was definitely above average as the bonus structure implemented was extremely rare and allowed the opportunity personal for above average compensation
Personally, the most fulfilling aspect of my work at capital one was having the options and resources available to assist in the car with a happy satisfied customer
Great pay. Good people, great cafeterias. Paid classes and catered Training.
Forced distributions and cross calibrations. Seems like someone always has to lose. It's awful. Climate is tense. Miidle-aged people need not apply.
Onsite health center. Discounts. Subsidized health food in all cafeterias, and guest speakers
The work environment is great, and they provide a lot for their employees.
Due to how much they uplift their employees, it’s hard to find/present clear differences in performance if something is not within your pay grade depending on one’s manager.
Medical and on-site amenities.
The people. The benefits. Added perks.
The performance management system is designed to deliberately push people out in favor of bringing in new vollege hires. Youth is valued over dedication.
Free snacks and lots of free food
Smart people and interesting work
Politics and lack of age diversity
vacation and hybrid work
I like the benefits that the company provides.
I dont like how little the pay is
work from home
Out of all the places I have words capital One has honestly been the best.
Internal mobility is sometimes hard.
Flexibility, pay, growth encouraged, paid training and certifications, as conscious as a corporation can be
