Job Description:
Our client is seeking experienced Senior Job Captains and/or Project Architects to support the execution of architectural projects from design development through construction. This role focuses heavily on construction documentation, consultant coordination, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate is technically strong, eager to grow, and thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented studio setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the production and coordination of construction documents across multiple project phases
Translate design concepts into clear, code-compliant technical drawings
Coordinate closely with consultants and integrate their documentation into project sets
Support entitlement, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation efforts
Collaborate with project leadership to plan workloads, schedules, and deliverables
Maintain organized project records, documentation, and correspondence
Review submittals, assist with revisions, and support construction-phase documentation updates
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team culture
Participate in internal meetings, client discussions, and occasional interview support efforts
Manage time effectively to align with project budgets and deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience producing architectural construction documents (fewer years considered for strong candidates with the right mindset)
Strong working knowledge of building systems, materials, codes, and construction methods
Required proficiency in Revit and BIM-based workflows
Experience with CAD and visualization tools such as SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, or Affinity preferred
Background in wood-frame multifamily or senior living projects is a plus, but not required
Strong communication skills and the ability to work side-by-side with project teams
Demonstrated desire to learn, grow, and develop technical expertise

**Main Responsibilities**

A Day in the Life:
Pre-Flight Preparation
Your day begins one hour prior to departure, giving you ample time to:
Review key flight details in Traxxall, including maintenance status, NOTAMs, fuel loads, weather conditions, and routing.
Collaborate with the Captain to discuss departure and arrival strategies, including diversion planning if needed.
Perform all required pre-flight checks, safety procedures, and flows to ensure the aircraft is clear.
In-Flight Operations
Operating the aircraft in full compliance with FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, and industry safety standards.
Maintain real-time communication with Mission Control (Dispatch), Ground Operations, ATC, and your Flight Attendant.
Serve as the secondary voice to the Captain in decision-making, ready to act quickly and confidently in dynamic conditions.
Post-Flight Duties
Assist with quick turn tasks, including light cabin tidying: clean tray tables, cross seatbelts, collect trash, and support the Flight Attendant as needed to ensure an on-time departure.
Log any maintenance in Traxxall and communicate critical updates to Mission Control
Additional responsibilities include:
Participating in recurrent training and performance evaluations to maintain proficiency and grow in your career.
Step in to assist with baggage handling or other duties at smaller airports where ground support is limited.

Job Summary:
This position is established within the Department of Forestry and Fire Management to serve as a first line supervisor on a 20 person inmate Type 2 hand crew. Will provide leadership and direction for the Department of Corrections, Reentry and Rehabilitation staff and inmates on wildland fire suppression and wildland urban interface/intermix situations as well as fuels mitigation projects including hand, mechanical and prescribed fire treatments. Will perform as a National Wildland Coordinating Group (NWCG) Qualified Crew Boss (CRWB) of the crew on fire suppression assignments. As DFFM needs dictate, may also serve in other fireline capacities and as DFFM representative on wildfires. The incumbent will maintain NWCG qualifications by attending necessary training and meeting NWCG fitness standards.
The incumbent may act as project manager for fuel treatment and natural conservation activities. The incumbent may implement "crew use agreements" with cooperators (other state agencies, county agencies, rural communities, homeowners associations, federal land management agencies, fire departments, universities, and tribal agencies)
.
Job Duties:
Responsible for directing a module of a 10 or 20 person Hand Crew.
Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for ADCRR staff members and inmate crew members.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for the crew and others in his/her charge.
When assigned to wildland fires, the incumbent will ensure the crew fulfills the assignments provided by incident command organization.
Will manage the scheduling of the crew for project work. Provides informal feedback and frequently evaluates crew performance.
The incumbent will ensure fire emergency readiness of the crew by providing nationally recognized fire training and ensuring equipment is maintained and available in accordance with agency policy.
The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance of crew records and financial documents, and will prepare crew use invoices for fires and project work. The incumbent will maintain crew equipment inventories, and prepare requisitions for needed supplies.
