Job Summary
Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure all functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion. Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Determines workload requirements from catering orders.
Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements; addresses last-minute changes and resolves problems.
Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items.
Instructs staff on work expectations for catered functions.
Helps staff set up rooms to desired specifications.
Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled locations.
Serves food and beverages to guests.
Returns food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
Ensures proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* A valid driver's license may be required. Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Pre-Flight Preparation

The Field Captain (Supervisor) has the same responsibilities as a Security Officer Plus:
* Visits multiple sites (local travel), ensures employees are following company policies and dress code, relieves employees of duty, fills shifts, delivers paperwork, writes reports and communicates to proper personnel with issues and updates. Answers calls from managers and employees during his/her scheduled shift.
* Organizes work schedules and ensures officers have reported to work on time and are assigned duties
* Ensures the proper execution of all security tasks and that all posts are properly staffed
* Ensures officers under his/her leadership present a good company image by wearing uniforms properly and have all of their equipment
* Briefs team at the beginning of the shift to update them on developments and share information about any security concerns
* Monitors electronic surveillance equipment, as appropriate
* Documents daily occurrences and oversees officers verbal and written reports to ensure they are complete
* Conducts on-the-job training for new officers to ensure they understand the requirements of the general and post orders
* Recommends performance counseling and disciplinary actions to management
* Conducts routine patrols with individual team members
* Manages inventory of all security equipment used for the shift and reports any equipment breakdowns to management
* Investigates suspicious activities and contacts law enforcement as appropriate
* Works posts as a security officer as needed
Field Captain Requirements:
* 25+ years with TX DL (Insurance purposes for driving company vehicles)
* Has held an active driver's license for 3-5 years with clear driving record
* Active non-commissioned security license is a MUST; meet and maintain all requirements of licensing requirements for Security Officers including passing a Criminal Background Check as required by the Texas PSB.
* Open availability (able and willing to work any days or any shift)

What you will have an opportunity to do:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Coffee Break & Pantry Captain will supervise and support the coffee break and pantry staff members and oversee the execution of the daily coffee break and pantry operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in overseeing the operation all coffee break stations, pantries and management offices across campus to ensure all guests needs are met and standards are upheld.
Ensure daily inventory sheets are up-to-date, place orders and receive product, and ensure all product is of high quality for our guests.
Schedule monthly meetings ensuring all necessary information is being relayed to the staff.
Coordinate daily Pre-shift meetings and communicate plans for coffee breaks and pantries for each day, utilizing break reports and event reports. Provide feedback on opportunities regarding coffee breaks and pantries.
Conduct monthly inventory of all coffee breaks, panties and management offices.
Training staff on the standards and tasks that the coffee break and pantry attendants are responsible for. Monitor Peer Trainer activities and check on new associate training.
Ensure standards and training outlines are up-to-date and always accurate.
