This position is physically located in Arlington Heights, IL Job overview and responsibilities: The Dispatcher is responsible for joint operational control with the Pilot in Command to ensure the safe, legal, and efficient operation of United Airlines flights in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Company Manuals. The successful candidate possesses strong organizational skills and is detail oriented. Operational Review Sergeant or Security Threat Group Sergeant experience may be substituted for required supervisory experience for a maximum substitution of one (1) year. Thirty (30) semester hours, with a minimum of six (6) semester hours in Criminal Justice, from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of the required non-supervisory experience. * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
