**Minimum Qualifications**
* Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating
* 500 hours total time, including:
* 50 hours multi-engine
* 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) _or_ R-ATP minimums met
* Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
* FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
* Valid U.S. passport (or passport with U.S. work authorization)
* High school diploma or GED
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Type rating in a Part 25 aircraft

Job Summary
* This position supervises and participates in the activities of assigned Fire Department personnel.
Major Duties

Minimum Qualifications

* Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with five or more years' experience in a full-time suppression position.
* Possession of or ability to readily obtain and maintain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Dakota for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
* Possession of or ability to readily obtain and maintain Firefighter I and II, Fire Officer I, and EMT-B certifications within one year of employment in this role.
* Must meet the medical and physical criteria as specified in the department's Health and Fitness policy.
Qualified applicants will be invited to participate in the physical agility testing. Those who pass the physical agility testing will be invited to participate in the written testing. Applicants must have a 70% or higher on the written exam to advance.
Upon successfully completing the physical agility and written testing, candidates who have advanced will be invited to interview for the position.
