Requires the ability to work in a seaborne environment with some shift work at remote locations with multiple over-night assignments. · Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. · Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. assisted by other employees. · Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. · Work Schedule: This position is part-time, on-call, with work hours varying based on operational needs. Assignments will be scheduled as required, and availability may be requested on short notice. · Overtime: required. · Travel: Required on a routine basis but work location is normally NAWCWD Port Hueneme. Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent. · Technical school training or specialized training in the appropriate field required or a total of two-four (2-4) years' experience in performing the stated functions may replace education · Experience in a military environment (E4+) or on a military facility preferred but not required · Basic understanding of Computer/Networking/MS Office · Works well with others as a member of a team · U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment. · Candidates may be required to pass a consumer report and/or investigation to include SSN, Driver Record, Credit, and Criminal Background Investigation.
