Job Duties
* Under broad direction, responsible for operating aircraft in accordance with the approved AFM, FAR, and company Flight Operations Manual.
* Performs the duties of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and has full authority and responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft on assigned flights.
* Supervises all crew members assigned to flight.
* Ensures completion of preflight inspection and confirms that all required equipment, paperwork and supplies are onboard the aircraft prior to departure.
* Obtains a complete weather briefing for departure, en-route, destination and alternate airports.
* Reviews aircraft performance and calculates weight and balance to ensure that the flight will be conducted within aircraft operating limits.
* Reports cancellation or diversion of a flight to the dispatcher and Chief Pilot and Director of Aviation.
* Coordinates with the lead passenger concerning passenger arrangements.
* Utilizes cockpit flows and checklists and completes all required trip paperwork.
* Ensures that a thorough post-flight inspection is completed following each flight.
* Completes customs and general declaration forms as required and maintains custody and control of passengers prior to clearing customs and/or immigrations.
* Possesses the authority to refuse transportation to any person or object if their carriage poses any risk to the safety of the aircraft or its occupants.
* May also be responsible for additional Training Officer and/or Safety Officer-related duties as assigned, including the development of training and safety plans.
Qualifications
* Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 10 years of flight operations experience, including Pilot-in-Command experience.
* Requires a minimum of 5000 hours of total flight time, including 2500 hours of multi-engine flight time and 1000 hours of jet flight time.
* Federal Aviation Administration Airline Transport Pilot (FAA ATP) license with multi-engine and instrument rating, 1st Class Medical license, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license, and valid US passport required.
* Gulfstream V type rating and international experience preferred.

As Captain, you will act as the shift commander, directing all security and control operations during a shift. This also means overseeing staff and providing maximum facility coordination, detainee supervision and safety as well as preparing records and reports. In this role, you will:
Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures (including emergency procedures) and regulations for custody, security, and treatment of detainees.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with all security, safety, sanitation, contraband, fire, and other facility regulations.

Five (5) years at sea as Master on tugboats, tankers or oil barges or equivalent military experience

ATB Operational experience strongly preferred.
500T Minimum Master of Towing preferred.
Extensive knowledge of the tugboat and oil transportation industry.
Must be thoroughly familiar with tank barge, ship and terminal/refinery operations.

Job Description
The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is seeking part-time staff for seasonal employment. The Floor Captain serves as a liaison between Hobby Center patrons and facility management. Their responsibilities include providing exemplary service to Hobby Center patrons, the orientation and supervision of volunteer ushers and enforcing theater policies at all Hobby Center events. Preferred candidates will have experience in customer service and staff/volunteer supervision. Knowledge and/or experience in performing arts or venue management are a plus.
Candidates should possess an above and beyond work ethic, be a natural leader with an exemplary professional demeanor. In addition, outstanding customer service, organizational management and communication skills to ensure an exceptional guest experience at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts are required. Duties include but are not limited to:
A leader in all front-of-house event management for all events at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts managing a volunteer staff of 30+ and crowds between 100-2650 guests at any given time.
Work with various venue staff and vendors, including Backstage, Security, Box Office, resident companies, and concessions.
Practice and lead patron safety with our staff and volunteers at all times for all venues, from understanding the current ADA policy, to preparing plans for patron access, and managing safety throughout the event.
Build strong guest relationships through exemplary customer service.
Complete all paperwork necessary to record and document patron, staff, or volunteer involvement during a performance.
Maintain all required training including Trained Crowd Manager Certification and CPR certification.
Attend regular staff meetings which focus on team performance.
