It's a full-time job that takes strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for people.
You'll kick things off with a deep dive into our world - about 10 weeks of hands-on learning at one of our Madison store locations, followed by 13 weeks of focused management training. Once you're ready, you'll head to your restaurant to take the reins as GM.

Lead and train both general staff and Shift Leaders,
Conduct effective performance reviews,
Manage inventory and vendor relationships,
Place accurate product orders,

Experience working in and training individuals in a variety of restaurant departments (FOH and BOH, Delivery, Catering) and the ability to learn, perform, and train all general staff roles at a high level within the first 6 months of employment.
Food Manager (ServSafe or Learn2Serve) Certified OR able to complete the certification in the first 6 months of employment.
Safe Alcohol Server Training (ServSafe or Learn2Serve) Certified OR able to complete the certification in the first 6 months of employment.
General Manager Skills and Qualities
Our GMs are top-notch operations and people leaders! Here's what we are looking for...
Embrace and embody the 2030 Vision, Company Values, and the Big Five Code of Conduct (Awareness, Connection, Generosity, Dependability, Effort).
Thorough understanding of how to drive sales, enforce proper food quality, interpret P&L statements, staffing, local store marketing, and sanitation.
Keep organized, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Effectively manage the team and your time to ensure things get done whether you are at the restaurant or not.
Motivate others to always put in their best effort, and hold all staff accountable to high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
