As a Car Electronics Installer, you'll install new technology into customers' vehicles in the installation bay of our local Best Buy store. You'll also share advice, best practices and product recommendations with customers and other employees. If you have a passion for cars and tech, we'll provide the trainings and certifications you need to perform at an expert level. Internally, this role is known as an Autotech Agent, and it provides opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2.
What you'll do
* Install car electronics, including T-harness remote starts, stereos, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units
* Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects
* Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation
* Provide a high level of customer service

Fire Alarm Installers, Technicians and Foreman
to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with the equipment, installation, and commissioning of low voltage systems and have at least journeyman level installation and troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities
Installation of fire life safety and other low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings.
Foreman will layout and provide direction to CSI installers on site as well as coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager to efficiently complete the project on time and on budget.
Technician shall have the ability to program or are experienced with programing low voltage systems including fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, or CCTV.
Responsible for the execution of the installation project plan provided including equipment delivery, trouble shooting, commissioning as well as interface with other trades to successfully complete projects while exceeding customer's expectations.
Resolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives.
Foreman and Technicians, meet with code officials to arrange for building permits, code issues and to discuss the intended wiring and installation methods being used.
Foreman and Technicians, coordinate the project activities with other trades at the work locations to optimize installation time.
Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
Identify out of scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify management of pending changes.
Identify and assist with suggested solutions for an efficient installation to complete scope.
Foreman and Technicians, assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Effectively communicate project status to management.
Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
Industry related BICSI, NICET and/or State Certification is preferred.
Fire Alarm License (FAL)
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Physical Requirements:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Perform installation, inspection and testing of all types of fire alarm and engineered and pre-engineered suppression systems at the required frequencies in accordance with the requirements and instructions contained in the applicable NFPA codes and standards
Perform programming, testing, final inspections, as-built drawings and customer training for installations. Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire alarm and engineered and pre-engineered suppression systems
Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Maintain vehicle in clean and orderly fashion. Keep vehicle stocked with parts, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform the job
Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job
Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services that customer may require
Work in compliance with the Company's safety program
Perform on-site and/or off-site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of fire alarm and suppression systems

We are seeking a skilled candidates with wiring experience for a 1st shift position. This role involves utilizing basic hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and power tools, to assist in the assembly and wiring of vehicles. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm, with the possibility of working Fridays on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
