A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE PORTER / CAR LOT ATTENDANT
As an Automotive Service Porter / Car Lot Attendant, you spend a lot of your time working outside in the lot, helping to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow and arranging the vehicles to best display our collection. You park customers' vehicles when they arrive and move vehicles between the service area and storage lot. The parking lot is like a Tetris game, with each vehicle needing a place to fit as they all have to be continually re-parked. Your skill and attention to detail make you a master at this challenge.
We depend on you to keep our vehicles and our customers' vehicles looking clean and beautiful. Always attentive to detail, you handle minor auto detailing and washing. As necessary, you also fuel the vehicles. Additionally, you make sure to keep the shop and showroom clean. You get great satisfaction from helping our car dealership thrive!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, such as standing for long periods of time
