Job Description:
The Car Wash Attendant is responsible to ensure a vehicle is ready for customer pick-up. Drive and park cars on the lot as needed. Check the vehicles for damage. Fill gasoline and check all fluid levels. Meet processing and standardization quotas. In this role you will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

This position is in a union environment and the scheduling is subject to shift bid.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be 20 years of age or older. A valid driver’s license is required. Must be able to work on your feet for majority of your shift. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

A Car Wash Attendant is one of the last team members to touch a client's vehicle before they see it after being serviced. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in what they do and wants to delight our customers by providing customer service that sparkles!
As a Car Wash Attendant, you will:

REPORTS TO: Shop Foreman
SUMMARY: Performs cleaning and detailing of trucks as well as general shop upkeep.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
“Essential functions” are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.
Clean equipment including detailing of interiors.
Polish wheels and fuel tanks.
Secure hydraulic lines.
Top off all fluids, replace wipers and clean windows.
Clean and organize shop vehicles and equipment.
Minor touch up body painting.
General shop upkeep.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Mechanical skills acquired through technical trade school or past experience is preferred.
Computer literate. Microsoft, Outlook and Excel a plus.
Attention to detail and possess a high level of accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with dispatch team and auto haulers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Verbal and auditory requirements include the ability to communicate clearly over the telephone as well as in person.
