Carbon Health is looking for a physician with clinical research experience as a Principal Investigator to join a growing community of healthcare providers to deliver compassionate, evidence-based urgent care and conduct clinical trials in infectious disease and indications related to general medicine, including vaccine research and cardiometabolic health. The Operations Manager is a key member of the donor center leadership team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance to ensure donor safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals. This role provides direct leadership to frontline staff across donor floor operations and ensures all center activities align with company standards, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Summary:
Assists with operational management of a Plasma Collection Center, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations and overall performance and profitability of the center. Acts on behalf of the Center Manager in his/her absence, may manage the center alone for days at a time. This position will manage employees in centers with over 50,000 liters.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the donor center when the Center Manager is not present.
Collaborates with Training and Quality staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.
Coaches and leads through effective feedback to employees through the Operations Supervisor(s).
Monitor and evaluate operations. Works with the Center Manager to develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervises the implementation of improvements. Makes critical decisions for the modifications of action plans.
Responsible for all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and termination and the maintenance of all personnel records
Partners with the Center Manager in budget preparation and oversees facility to achieve production targets and quality goals at the agreed-upon cost structure.
Actively delegates, monitors, and holds responsible the operations supervisors for their performance.
Direct and supervise employees. This includes creating and managing work schedules.
Establishes and maintains the ability to perform all tasks within the center; fulfills the role of production employees when the occasional need arises.
Other Responsibilities:
Assures center employees maintain the facility in a neat and clean condition and all equipment is kept in good working order.
Responsible for freezer management, including overseeing plasma shipments and equipment failures. Required to answer all freezer alarms and deal with them appropriately.
Develop and implement active donor recruitment advertising campaigns to improve production levels.
Maintains thorough familiarity and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).

The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:
High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist

The Principal Scientist/Engineer - Cleaning Validation/Sterilization Validation - Technical Services / Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) role is a technical position that develops and supports the validation of production equipment and systems and provides technical leadership regarding temperature mapping, cleaning and sterilization validation strategies.
Primary objectives include the start-up and compliant manufacturing of products, particularly as it relates to development and implementation of validation strategies, including sterilization validation, cleaning validation, filter validation, and other related activities. The scope of the role includes device assembly, packaging, and syringe filling operations for commercially manufactured products targeted for transfer to the Concord site.
Key Objectives / Deliverables:
* Understand the scientific principles required for manufacturing parenteral drug products, device assembly and packaging, including the interaction of the chemistry, equipment, aseptic processes, and container closure systems.
* Provide technical support for all start-up activities related to temperature mapping, cleaning and sterilization programs.
* Development and execution of cleaning and sterilization strategies that focus on the validation of production equipment and systems (e.g., tanks, component/parts washer, autoclaves, filling isolators, etc).
* Support periodic requalification activities for production equipment and systems.
* Author and support the execution of validation protocols and reports.
* Provide technical guidance to the Process Team for cleaning and sterilization processes.
* Lead or provide technical support for root cause investigations related to cleaning, sterilization, and other related activities.
* Analyze manufacturing data using statistical principles to identify trends, process disruptions, and opportunities for continuous improvements.
* Coordinate with cross-functional process teams for the implementation of projects identified to improve productivity, quality, or continuous improvement of cleaning and sterilization processes.
* Participate or provide guidance for equipment cleaning and sterilization programs during internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections, as needed.
* Prepare, review, approve, and provide technical support for preparation of relevant technical documents, as required, such as: change controls, regulatory submissions, deviation investigations, validation protocols and summary reports, processing records, procedures, PFDs, VMPs, APRs, QPPAs, etc.
* Support and/or lead TS/MS technical projects to ensure a successful start-up, improve process control, yield, product quality and/or productivity. Implement process changes and improvements through the technical agenda.
* Serve as cleaning and sterilization interface external to the Concord site.
* Work within or lead cross-functional teams in a positive fashion to implement TS/MS objectives and deliver on business plan and quality objectives.
* Collaborate with and influence partners across the Parenteral Network and teams along a specific product supply chain.
* Ensure a safe working environment through compliance with safety rules and improve safety culture by actively participating in safety-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
* BS or MS in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related scientific discipline
* 3+ years experience supporting cGMP manufacturing (specifically within validation, engineering, technical services/MSAT, operations, quality assurance, etc.)
Additional Preferences:
* In depth knowledge of parenteral drug product manufacturing
* Experience executing equipment qualification, cleaning validation, and sterilization validation
* Demonstrated successful leadership of cross-functional teams
* Experience with data trending and analysis
* Ability to analyze complex data and solve problems

* Role is Monday through Friday based.

The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. The Radiologic Technologist (XRT) position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. You'll help patients through the imaging process and work cross-functionally to support your team with other tasks that expand your knowledge and experience to keep our clinic running smoothly. We are looking for someone with availability and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow
Attend staff and departmental meetings
Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
Proposes improvements to processes and workflows
Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
ABOUT YOU
Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
Current CRT certificate
Current CPR- BLS
Licensure/Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency

About You
Active NP or PA license, board certified or board eligible

Salary range of $110,760/yr - $132,600/yr for APCs, a biweekly leadership stipend and an additional wRVU incentive bonus potential up to 28% of yearly salary that is paid out quarterly for a competitive overall compensation package. Offers are based on a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
