Position Definition: The Behavioral Health Technician ABA will provide one-to-one behavioral interventions with clients and serve as a model for appropriate and pro-social behaviors.
Relationship: The Behavioral Health Technician ABA shall be directly responsible to the Supervisor of Mental Health Services.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 40 hours of training in content covered by Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) training, as verified by a BCBA.
Completion of all ongoing training, policy review, and supervisory requirements.
Skills/Knowledge:
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work positively in a strength-based intervention model.
Ability to adhere to mandated timelines and provide services to clients and families.
Due to itinerant nature of position, must have a valid driver's license.
Physical:
Ability to drive.

Connection Coaches must be comfortable utilizing various technological tools when conducting advising sessions, for case management and providing instructional technology support to students. Education and/or Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree required;

Knowledge of and commitment to serving bilingual/bicultural student populations and others traditionally underrepresented in higher education
General Conversational English/Spanish speaking and listening as measured by scoring a performance level of 7 or higher on our standardized live telephone assessment
Preferred:
