Where state and federal laws/regulations allow, accountable for performing day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, administrative activities; Ensures efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience. Serves as a full-time certified pharmacy technician.
Responsible for operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, supervising pharmacy technicians and pharmacy cashiers within the guidelines of authorized company policies, laws, regulations and business ethics.
Responsible for the selection, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel. Leads training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians. Makes decisions regarding performance management including discipline and termination.
Customer Experience
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer complaints, helps respond to customers' requests in a timely manner and answers non-clinical questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Models and shares customer service best practices.
Develops strong relationships with customers by anticipating customer needs and proactively offering services to provide the best experience possible when using the pharmacy. Enhances customer experience by increasing focus on healthcare services.
Operations
Responsible for assisting pharmacist in the delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications for patients, counting, and verifying (where allowed by law). Completes patient and physician calls under the supervision of a pharmacist (where allowed by law). Under the supervision of a pharmacist assists with healthcare service offerings including administering vaccines, health screenings, and any health services allowed by law.
Within the guidelines of authorized company policies, state and federal laws/regulations, exercises independent judgment to delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy. Ensures tasks are completed on-time and holds others accountable for efficient workflow.
At the direction of the Pharmacy Manager or pharmacist, prepares, and files reports and records required by the company and various government agencies.
Manages core pharmacy workflow and drives excellence in pharmacy operations. Coordinates and organizes pharmacy daily schedule of activities. Recommends allocation of pharmacy hours. Assures the pharmacy is clean, neat, orderly, and stocked with adequate supplies.
Under the direction of the pharmacist, exercises independent judgment to ensure compliance and execution of all business administrative activities and pharmacy inventory management tasks that do not require pharmacist licensure. Manages annual inventory preparation.
Accountable for completion of non-clinical patient calls.
Drives new technology/ process roll out, champions change and engages team around action planning. Assures proper operation and maintenance of pharmacy department equipment. In collaboration with Pharmacy Manager, responsible for recordkeeping and ensuring security safeguards are in-place.
Under supervision of the pharmacist, strictly adheres to the Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing during all applicable prescription-dispensing activities and understands their role in ensuring that the elements of Good Faith Dispensing are met.
Maintains and applies knowledge of Company asset protection techniques. Supports Pharmacy Manager with diversion monitoring and reports any concerns that would compromise the security of the pharmacy to the Pharmacy Manager.
Communicates prescription errors to the accountable pharmacist, and adheres to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Continuous Quality Improvement Program.
Ensures the accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve customer issues and prevent payment rejections. Follows-up with insurance companies as well as medical providers and conducts or participates in 3rd party audit.
Assists and supports Store Manager and Pharmacy Manager in analyzing and seeking to improve pharmacy financials, operational quality and customer service.
Manages Community Outreach Portal and coordinates and, at the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, assigns pharmacists to off-site immunization clinics and community events. Builds and sustains relationships with retail partnerships.
People & Performance Management
Leads performance management of technicians including making decisions and recommendations regarding discipline and termination. Follows constructive discipline policy to discipline, suspend, terminate or effectively recommend the same. Uses constructive discipline policy to ensure pharmacy technicians are compliant with state and federal laws. Holds technician accountable for attendance and timeliness. Maintains and improves performance of pharmacy through team member engagement and action planning.
Accountable for technician hiring, on-boarding, training, and scheduling. Monitors and holds pharmacy technicians accountable for timely training completion. Follows established policies and procedures set by the company for scheduling and training.
Accountable for identifying gaps in pharmacy operations knowledge among team members and supporting those team members in their training, either through hands-on training or assignment of learning modules.
Assists Pharmacy Manager in monitoring that all pharmacy and team member licensures, registrations and certifications are active and in good standing/ compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements. Leverages Walgreens resources such as Walgreens Online Verification System to assist in documenting licensure status.
Ensures proper procedures are followed for selection, recruitment, record retention, and training as required by Company policy and local, state and federal laws.
Training & Personal Development
Maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.
Maintains and enhances current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare.
Obtains necessary certifications, education credits and training such as LTMP e-modules as required by the Company. Follows performance improvement plans offered by Pharmacy Manager.
Seeks professional development by monitoring one's own performance, solicits for constructive feedback, and leverages Healthcare Supervisor as mentor and coach.
Communication
Communicates with pharmacy team, relaying messages from the support center or other key emails as required.
Participates in key store/pharmacy meetings, including 5-minute meetings and weekly check-ins with the Store Manager
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management/ leadership experience.
Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.

Operational Excellence:
Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Lead and measure all daily processes to ensure order fulfillment and production are completed with excellence on a daily basis. Partnership with the Director of Operations for resolving daily challenges and ensuring timely and accurate completion or order fulfillment for Operations that will ship anywhere from 2,200 to 10,000 lines per day or 136K to 1.2M of revenue on a daily basis.
When applicable - Adhere to and manage all transactions as the CDR (certified designated representative) and be responsible for ensuring accurate procedures and recordkeeping and to ensure Medline is compliant with the State of Florida's "Pharmacy Practice Act" administrative rule.
Human Capital Management:
Support all human resource processes at local facility. This includes helping to sourcing and staffing all positions, support the performance management process, administer compensation when necessary, and training and development. Create a culture that promotes positive employee relations. Exposure to confidential information is restricted to salary information for respective supervisors, leads and hourly employees.
Expense Management:
Support and oversee daily and ongoing expenses to ensure that financial capital is used as efficiently as possible. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Scheduling, tracking and expediting freight to inter-company and contact distributors. Work with carriers to resolve freight discrepancies;
Inventory management:
Monitor work and processes to ensure that product is moved correctly from trailer to racks to shipping. Responsible for VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
Sales Support:
Support local sales representatives and sales leadership to deliver outstanding customer service. Support current business by providing timely responses to service failures and customer concerns. Support the Director of Operations with resolving customer complaints as registered through the OSI process.
Safety and hygiene:
Monitors activities of work team to ensure that safe practices are in place and being demonstrated. Monitors building to ensure that proper housekeeping is being practiced. Give guidance to safety committee.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred, relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree. 3 to 5 years supervisory experience, with demonstrated abilities supporting personnel, and warehouse employees. Preferrable 5 years business experience, with several years being in a distribution center environment.
Certification / Licensure:
When applicable - Certified as a CDR by the State of Florida to ensure compliant operations and handling of pharmaceutical product.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

North America Distributor Manager
is responsible for
driving revenue, managing key distributor relationships, and aligning Molecular Devices' commercial strategies with channel partners. This role will also require a high level of collaboration with other functional groups, including Marketing, Service, Operation, Human Resources, and Finance.

Design and implement effective standard work for managing distributor channels in North America.
Proactively assess and improve partner performance on a weekly basis and ensure channel partner compliance.

Strengthen distributor relationships and optimize marketing campaigns and programs.
Partner with Commercial Operations to deliver product education to distributor teams.

This position is responsible for leading Equipment Technicians, within the assigned geography and to drive the entire installation process of capital equipment and work in conjunction with all Henry Schein divisions that impact the installation process, to deliver superior customer experience by planning and project managing the installation of capital equipment. This position will be responsible for managing the post-order procurement process for dental equipment and supplies and for ensuring the team is tracking to the quarterly/annual Risk and Opportunity (RO) targets. Ensure installations are coordinated, internally and externally in accordance with our policies and procedures, for the timely delivery and installation of dental equipment. Collaborate with sales leadership to execute corporate, national and district strategy, along with sales and operations business, field compliance and strategic customer initiatives. Work in partnership with the internal governance team to ensure inventory integrity. Ensure the assigned geography is properly staffed and trained to meet customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manges the entire district installation process by working with the assigned Equipment Specialist(s) to determine the appropriate installation dates and ensure all projects are current and on track with quarterly / annual RO. Leads the coordination of all installation date changes that may occur during the planning process.
Responsible for Equipment Planning Meetings (EPM) for assigned market to provide updates to the team and ensure customers are notified for all scheduling.
Ensures that all preparation prior to start of weekly EPMs is complete, which includes scheduling customers; inputting current estimated shipping details and notes into internal software systems; daily/weekly adjustment of projected installation dates; manages the solutioning of credit issues; validates ‘Order Terms' compliance prior to installation; and works directly with 3PL (or respective Henry Schein facilities) to ensure equipment is staged for delivery.
Handles daily invoicing per the order terms upon delivery / installation of equipment, including ensuring all credit and financial approvals are in place and handles escalations as required.
Communicates directly with Equipment Specialists to ensure alignment with order status and forecasted projections/commitments as needed.
Provides financial accounting with proper proof of delivery documents for entered equipment orders based on audit sent by the Financial Inventory Team. Verifies with Equipment Service Technician(s) and local management for revenue recognition.
Holds all TSMs in assigned geography accountable for effectively utilizing project management tools as required.
Ensures a high level of customer experience and overall KPI results in the assigned geography.
Work closely with the Strategic Accounts team to manage assigned accounts.
Ensure technicians are held accountable for accurate and timely completion and close out of work orders and RMAs. Partner with the Area Technical Trainers for all technical training requirements, and additional KPI metrics as required.
Manage and resolve TSM issues and concerns in a professional and diplomatic manner, supporting these issues with appropriate documentation and requesting the assistance of Human Resources when necessary. Recognize team members, hold technicians accountable, regularly coach and counsel technicians towards attaining performance and career goals and ensuring there is appropriate focus on high potential talent.
Responsible for Equipment Technician hiring, onboarding, professional development planning, certification completion and continued training.
Attend all necessary industry meetings, customer meetings and corporate meetings as required by the business.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Acts as back up for colleagues in other markets.

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Branch Logistics performs, plans, and coordinates the daily activity of all Logistics personnel and functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the Logistics department for the branch to optimize timely and accurate delivery of products

Minimum
* Two or more years of leadership experience
* Highly motivated, energetic and capable to address issues with a strong sense of urgency.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to report and recommend solutions to challenges.
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in Mirco Soft computer software (MS Word and Excel, especially)

* 2-5 years supervisory experience
* High School or greater educational

* Communicate with fellow supervisors and Production Manager on daily operational activities.
* Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
* Plan production/staffing need on a daily, weekly, period basis.
