Summary
The Housekeeping Associate provides excellent housekeeping service to our residents and maintains the community in an orderly and sanitary condition.
Responsibilities
1. Performs a variety of general cleaning duties to include dusting high and low, scrubbing, wiping, mopping wet and dry floors, vacuuming, and any other assigned cleaning duties
2. Performs cleaning in a variety of areas including resident rooms, dining areas, kitchens, living rooms and other general living areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, bathrooms, recreation areas, nursing stations, medication rooms, clean and soiled utility rooms, break rooms, offices, and any other assigned areas
3. Performs carpet care and resilient floor cleaning according to procedure and as assigned.
4. Mixes, labels, monitors, and properly utilizes a variety of approved cleaning products
5. Conducts specialized clean-up according to procedure and utilizes proper equipment such as blood spill and hazardous material clean-up
6. Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, trash/waste storage and disposal and wearing protective clothing and equipment when handling waste and cleaning agents
7. Follows all safety procedures and protocol as dictated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations and standard housekeeping practice and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Summary
This position is responsible for assisting residents in obtaining services to enable them to remain independent.
Responsibilities
1. Establishes a network with community-based service providers to facilitate resident's access to programs. These may include, but not limited to, formal assessment, personal assistance, homemaker services, meal services, transportation, counseling, occasional services from a visiting nurse
2. Provides general case management and referral services to all residents needing such assistance by educating residents on service availability, applicant procedures and client rights
3. Monitors the ongoing provision of services from community agencies and keeps the provider agencies informed of progress of residents
4. May hold the responsibility of coordinating their site's volunteer program in conjunction with a designated member of the EverTrue Volunteer and Community Engagement team, which may include determining volunteer needs, onboarding and orientation, record-keeping, evaluation, and retention of the volunteers
5. Works with residents and community service providers to enhance services by implementing new on-site services and programming, such as preventative health screenings
6. Participates in resident councils and other resident groups to improve communication between residents and management
7. Assists residents applying for entitlement programs such as Medicaid, SSI, and food stamps for which they may be eligible; Coordinates and oversees the delivery of supportive services and provides information on available services
8. Assists in the development of on-going, wellness-oriented, on-site programming for residents

Summary
The Dietary Aide performs a variety of dining service functions in serving and maintaining clean, sanitary, and organized conditions of kitchen, dining areas, facilities, and equipment within the skilled nursing and assisted living memory care residential areas; May assist in some aspects of food preparation
Responsibilities
Assists residents with making appropriate food and beverage choices while ensuring options offered meet their dietary restrictions/orders, including being attentive to food allergies and sensitivities
Performs defined work routines using various dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned
Assists with all aspects of dining service set-up, including preparing meals, beverages, and other food items, ensuring all foods are served at proper temperatures and on time
Prepares dining room(s) for next meal service; Sets tables, refills condiments, washes and folds clothing protectors
Assists with all aspects of clean-up to ensure all dining service areas are maintained in accordance with policies and standards by completing daily cleaning duties, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, removing trash, stocking and storing items correctly, and keeping all dining service work areas clean
Follows all safety procedures and protocols as mandated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations, and standard food handling practices and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately
Maintains all necessary documentation, including checking and recording food temperatures in HACCP logs, recording product usage and waste amounts, and recording any other information needed
Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, food storage, food disposal, and wearing protective clothing and equipment when handling waste and cleaning agents
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
-One year of dietary aide experience preferred
-Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn
-Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
-Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments
-Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions
-Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members
-Must have or be willing to receive a recognized food safety handling certification in accordance with local or county regulations

3. Prepares appropriate size portions and quantity of food adhering to standardized production menus when appropriate. Prepares alternate food items and/or additional quantities when requested by resident or customer in a timely fashion.
4. Maintains proper sanitation in the kitchen and dining area keeping areas clean and organized. Utilizes and maintains equipment according to safety and standard operating instructions.
5. Follows infection control and safety procedures, including proper hand washing, food preparation, food storage, food disposal and wearing protective clothing and equipment.
