Education & Certification
Completion of anaccredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program(Associates or Bachelors degree).
CurrentARRT(N) certification(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear)or CNMT certification(Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist via NMTCB).
CurrentBLS (Basic Life Support)certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred in cardiac-focused practices.
Experience
Prior experience innuclear cardiologyor general nuclear medicine strongly preferred.
Proficiency in performingcardiac stress testing(exercise and pharmacologic) in conjunction with nuclear imaging.
