Qualifications and Background:

What You'll Do

Our growing cardiology practice is looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team and work closely with our Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and General Cardiologists. The position includes a mix of clinic work in our St. Augustine and Palm Coast offices, along with limited hospital responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
Outpatient Care (Weekdays): Conduct patient visits, manage medications, order diagnostic tests, and coordinate care alongside cardiologists. Following any weekend on-call rotation, APPs receive Monday off.
Hospital Call (Weekends): Collaborate with a second APP to perform consults and inpatient rounds Saturday and Sunday. Responsibilities include documenting visits, coordinating lab/imaging orders, adjusting medications, and overseeing stress tests when applicable.
Night Call (Weekdays): Offer remote call coverage from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. for hospital and practice-related patient concerns. All coverage is done remotely-no on-site presence required. Morning patient handoff is expected as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in cardiology is a plus; however, recent graduates with a strong interest in the specialty are welcome to apply.
Candidates must possess a current Florida license as an APRN or PA-C, with no history of disciplinary action or malpractice issues.
Must have a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations, patient care standards, clinical documentation practices, and healthcare billing processes.
