The primary purpose of the part-time NEO-WIN Dedicated Instructional Assistant position is to provide academic support to high-need students enrolled in our nursing programs. The Dedicated Instructional Assistant will hold scheduled office hours for students at risk of sliding below course success requirements or who need support to understand their curriculum course concepts. This is not a lab position for clinical skills. This position will facilitate at both the Main and Akron campuses.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
* Help students develop essential critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and clinical judgement skills essential for their nursing practice through providing mentorship for confidence building and supporting their resilience in their studies and future careers.
* Conduct one-on-one and group instructional enhancement sessions with nursing students in a non-directive, facilitative approach.
* Assisting students in understanding complex nursing concepts, providing strategies for effective studying, time management, and test preparation to sit for their state and national licensure examinations.
* Facilitate workshops focused on study skills and techniques essential for success in nursing education.
To Be Considered You Need (Per the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC Rule 4723-5-10):
* To have been a licensed Registered Nurse for at least two years;
* A Master's degree in Nursing to be able to instruct in the ADN program;
* A Bachelor's degree in Nursing to be able to instruct in the PN program
