Documents accurately & completely, pertinent assessments, interventions & outcomes in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and / or guidelines. Updates & maintains computerized and hard copy patient records. Computer Skills: Utilizes computer systems appropriate to area effectively. Utilizes internet and intranet appropriately. Initiative: Maintains a responsible attitude toward individual performance in accordance with approved policies & procedures. Sonographic Doppler Venous Waveform Analysis of the upper or lower extremities for the evaluation of venous insufficiency or reflux. 7. Sonographic Duplex examinations of Hemodialysis Access Sites including AV Fistulas and AV Grafts. 8. Responds to call lights promptly, makes frequent rounds and attempts to meet patient needs. Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, weight and height. Perform Ekgs Holter monitor and event monitor application as needed. Empties patient drainage containers and maintains accurate intake and output records. Collects specimens and delivers them to the requested area. Performs venous and capillary collections as ordered regardless of patient age. Performs order entry and specimen processing to ensure sample integrity and proper patient identification. Performs point of care testing following policy and procedure. Transports patients in a safe manner following policy and procedures. Assists with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care which includes positioning, lifting, turning, etc. Reports changes observed in condition or behavior of patient. Assists with treatment procedures. Assists in maintaining supplies and reports malfunctioning equipment. maintains proper competency and education as required for the position. other duties as assigned. Qualifications Job Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Licensure/Certification: CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE STNA Preferred Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred.
