Butler Hospital seeks a full time child/adolescent neuropsychologist to conduct both psychological and neuropsychological assessments on an inpatient (50%) and outpatient (50%) basis. Referral questions include, but are not limited to, neurodevelopmental disorders, psychiatric disorders, and neurological disorders. Assessment support is typically available for some of the cases through a technician or student. The successful candidate should be comfortable working within the medical and outpatient communities and be able to collaborate with our clinic director and administrative team. The ideal candidate has competence with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, expertise in child/adolescent neuropsychological assessment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a keen interest in training graduate-level and post-graduate level students. I. Responsibilities:
* Maintains a cleaning cart in an orderly condition, keeping the cart fully stocked with required cleaning supplies.
* Responsible for removal of all waste including: regular rubbish, cardboard, recycle confidential paper, hazardous material.
* Follow proper procedures concerning hazardous waste disposal and handling.
* Cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms completely.
* Replenishes all supplies: soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and paper towels.
* Daily disinfecting of (all assigned areas) offices, corridors, elevators, stairwells, patient rooms and cleaning/making beds that are vacant due to patient discharge or transfer.
* Performs project work such as wall washing, window washing, curtain changing with use of ladder, cleaning of waste containers, floor buffing, refinishing floors, floor scrubbing, carpet cleaning.
* Operation of heavy duty electrical equipment: wet vacuums, extractors, buffers, floor machines, auto scrubbers, upholstery machines, pressure washers, vacuums, steamers
* Sweeps, mops, wet-washes, and vacuums floors.
* Moves furniture and completes conference room setups.
* Collects soiled linens and transports to laundry; returns clean linen to proper linen closets.
* Turns and changes mattresses and completes bed moves
* Disinfects areas by scrubbing or wiping.
* Completes assigned work orders.
* Operates hospital dump truck to move supplies, furniture , or transport waste to the compactors.
* Reports any mechanical failures and negative conditions.
Performs other duties as required.
Demonstrates competence and compassion in day-to-day interactions with patients, family members, or friends that may be present, either as patients or visitors at Butler Hospital.

The Providence Center Adult & Children Clinical Intake Specialist will assess/evaluate the type and degree of a new (or returning) adult or child/adolescent client s mental health and/or substance use condition to determine whether services are needed and to link the client to the most appropriate services. To establish a psychiatric diagnosis, collect data sufficient to permit a case formulation and to develop an initial treatment plan as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform new (and returning) client evaluation, diagnosis, intake and assessment, crisis intervention (if required), client education, and program referral and orientation.
Maintain flexibility in the need of location and age demographic for initial assessments.
Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers.
Treat consumers with respect.
Perform in a calm and professional manner during crisis or emergency situations.
Apply knowledge of Psychiatric Diagnosis (DSM IV); ASAM placement criteria; Motivational Interviewing; and Recovery Based best practices.
Perform and record mental status examination.
Assess clinical emergencies, including suicide, homicide and other risk factors.
Complete DLA assessment and understand Health Home criteria in all Adult services
Collect pertinent data from appropriate collateral sources in accordance with confidentiality guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Center policy and legal requirements.
Develop and present, verbally and in writing, a clear clinical formulation based on behavioral data and relevant theory while incorporating psychosocial and family issues.
Use psychiatric consultation and intervention when clinically appropriate.
Use knowledge to decide appropriate levels of care in order to refer to various points in the continuum of care.
Perform record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other Center requirements.
Complete initial assessment forms within 24 hours of Intake appointment.
Complete insurance documentation as required.
Complete required reports and evaluations.
Follow required office procedures in a cooperative manner.
Collaborate with other providers, agencies, and individuals in the consumers' network of care.
Maintain knowledge and familiarity of mental health and/or substance abuse and other related community agencies.
Communicate with various local agencies and individuals, as well as with Center staff.
Attend trainings, case presentations and conferences.
Provide feedback to staff on the content of educational programs attended.
Participate in the education of other Center staff.
Attend mandatory in-service trainings and other trainings required for renewal of licensure.
Maintain cooperative relationships with Center staff, consumers, community agencies and the public.
Maintain knowledge and familiarity of all adult & child programs within The Providence Center, in order to appropriately assign consumers.
Communicate with various local agencies and other departments or teams at The Center.
Work in cooperation with co-workers and supervisory staff.
Deal with team members regarding problems in a constructive manner.
Benefit from constructive criticism.
Serve on appropriate Center committees.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Master s degree in social work and/or relevant clinical experience.
Experience completing clinical assessments preferred.
LICSW/LMHC preferred. Licensure eligibility required.
Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with consumers, community agencies and Center employees.
Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required.
Must have insured auto and valid driver's license.

-Move equipment on wheels such as hospital beds, carts, cardiac and geriatric chairs and supplies as instructed; transport medical equipment to place of patient discharge. Wash and clean all nursing unit transport and medical equipment. Maintain area, equipment and supplies in a neat, orderly and safe condition. Alert appropriate personnel about any broken equipment or any maintenance needed.
- Clean, wash, mop, vacuum and disinfect each discharge room for new admission.
-Maintain inventory and prepare orders for all non-par stock items on the Nursing Unit.
-Assist in the training of new employees in day to day procedures observing and enforcing all hospital policies, rules and regulations.
