As a Senior Review Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting utilization review/medical management for all services including training and mentoring other team members and performing preliminary research on requested topics. Coordinate activities regarding consumer hospitalization, serving as liaison with the hospital regarding admission, case review, and discharge. Comply with written clinical procedures and professional standards. Address the unique needs of individuals and co-occurring disorders (e.g., substance abuse, developmental and/or physical disabilities, personality disorders, trauma, brain injury, etc.) that consumers have. Keep current about new developments in psychotropic medication and other biological interventions. Make assessments and provide appropriate crisis interventions and risk management as needed. Teach consumers adult daily living skills. Initiate treatment and advocate for consumer within network of care. Negotiate on behalf of the consumer, as needed, with landlords, courts, families, the treatment team, and consumers themselves. Transport consumers in own vehicle or TPC van to planned activities and appointments. Complete recordkeeping in accordance with Health Information Services (HIS) and other TPC requirements within required time frames and abide by Center confidentiality policy.
