About This Opportunity: CareATC is looking for a Physician to work collaboratively with the clinic staff to provide high-quality, comprehensive primary care and occupational health. The CareATC approach is to work with our patient population to assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support, and ongoing education.
Exclusive Sign-On Bonus: A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered exclusively to candidates who apply directly to CareATC. Candidates submitted through agencies or other third parties are not eligible.
We are opening two new clinics in Charlottesville, VA. You will work with a team including a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, a physical therapist, a mental health professional, a registered dietitian, and medical assistants. The clinic is open Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays. There is no call! Maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing great patient care!
Occupational Health Services include:
* Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty examinations
* Evaluate and manage work-related injuries and illnesses
* Perform DOT physicals and other regulatory examinations as required
* Maintain accurate occupational health records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT)

Qualifications:

What you will do:
We are looking for a Primary Care Physician interested in providing primary care to underserved communities as well as precepting medical student/residents to join as residency faculty. DVCH is the first and only teaching FQHC in Philadelphia!
As a member of the primary health care team, this position is responsible for rendering professional medical services to the patient population of Delaware Valley Community Health, Inc.. This position provides care to patients with special awareness of vulnerable populations treated in the health centers that may face barriers to care due to residence, health, age, personal characteristics, ability to communicate, chronic illnesses and comorbidities, high ER utilization, developmental status or financial status. The position is also accountable for the complete documentation of patient visits in the patient chart as well as administrative reporting activities as assigned by management.

PA fellows will advance through the program with guidance and oversight provided by intensivists, physician fellows, resident physicians, and other PAs, with increasing levels of autonomy commensurate with their competence and level of advancement in the fellowship.

Class size: 2 PA fellows per year
Didactic (25%): including one week of orientation boot camp and additional protected time for lectures, simulation lab, journal club, grand rounds/M&M, professional certifications, and other educational conferences.
Clinical Rotations (75%): CCU, MICU, SICU, CTICU, Neuro ICU, Airway Management (OR/ED), 3 Elective rotations each x 2 weeks
Electives may include: ECMO, ED, Ethics, ICU Triage, ID, Nephrology, Palliative Care, Radiology, Stroke Consult, Ultrasound, Neonatal ICU
