Reporting to the VP of Corporate Finance, the Director of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations has primary accountability for strategic financial analysis (business operations, capital structure, new programs, etc), for coordination and ownership of all aspects of quarterly earnings and investor engagement process, monitoring all investor engagement and providing insight into market movements and peer/competitor performance, supporting quarterly and ongoing engagement with the board of directors, and developing and maintaining critical reporting on all facets of the company's operation and financial performance. This is a highly visible position with the senior leadership team, investors, and key stakeholders outside the company. Responsibilities * Directs and conducts critical strategic and investment analysis in support of new programs, pricing, mergers and acquisitions, capital structure and use of funds, and other high visibility projects. * Support monthly/quarterly reporting with an eye toward aligning strategic goals with financial and operational metrics, including developing dashboards and other reporting mechanisms. * Directs activity required to prepare monthly financial, operational and statistical data reports for the Board of Directors. * Own the quarterly and annual earnings/results communication and coordination across external reporting, FP&A and our 3rd party investor relations firm * Performs market research and analysis in support of ongoing visibility to peer and competitor performance, and in support of critical investor relationships. * Liason between accounting, FP&A and operations groups to ensure access to critical information and to drive efficient and effective management reporting processes. * Engage with and manage 3rd party Investor Relations firm relationship and activities. * Provides strategic financial support to the CFO and CEO. * Builds and mentors an effective team. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education / Experience * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required * MBA, CPA or CFA strongly preferred * Minimum five (5) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, or related fields required. Prefer minimum two (2)years experience leading a function and/or team. * Public company and investor relations experience highly preferred * Merger and Acquisition experience is preferred Skills * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) is required * PeopleSoft, Hyperion, MS Office, and BI tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense) * Ability to influence without authority in a matrix organization * Ability to collaborate throughout the organization * Ability to build an effective team through coaching and mentoring * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential * Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and achieve results Abilities * Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds or less 5% of the workday * Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday * Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday * Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday. * Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday. * Will require up to 25% of overnight travel. The ideal candidate has experience in several of the repair and construction trades such as painting and dry wall repair, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC repair. Basic computer skills are needed and experience using forklifts and Scissor lifts are a plus. Candidates must be able to work independently and have a team player approach. The schedule is 12p-9pm The pay range is 19-23/hr based on experience. Responsibilities Repair and maintain structure of establishment by performing moderately difficult work in a skilled trade, such as: construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, welding, HVAC, and other related maintenance activities, by determining best methodology and materials necessary to complete assignments. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Notify management concerning need for major repairs. Assist in training other maintenance personnel in areas of basic construction, plumbing, electrical, welding, and related maintenance skills Other duties as assigned.
