Position Overview Mature Caregivers is actively seeking Companions to work with our elderly clients. In this role, you will provide social, emotional, and practical support to older adults. Tasks typically include 1:1 engagement through conversation, participating in activities like games, cards, reading or going for a walk, taking the client out to social engagements or shopping/errands, fixing simple meals or snacks. Companions may also assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping. The role is non-medical with emphasis on helping clients maintain independence and sometimes providing respite to informal caregivers (family, friends, etc.) The starting pay rate is $22/hour. ABA Direct Service Providers will work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavioral Analysts providing highly individualized and customized services and supports to parents and children on IEP's in home and community-based settings. These part-time positions will be up to 18 hours/week.
