The Interim Housing program provides temporary housing and connects individuals to important resources in the community, with the ultimate goal of linking individuals to permanent housing in their community. Staff use reflective listening, paying special attention to the content, feelings, and meaning behind the message and reflecting back to the speaker to demonstrate understanding and clarify the message. The purpose of reflective listening is to act as a mirror or reflection of the speaker to optimize their communication. · Understanding of living best life -Living one's best life is subjective and involves reaching targeted levels of growth, leading to taking actions that help the person discover and hone their interests, talents, and passions. The facilitator supports the person to articulate what his or her best life looks like, and to tailor their plan to fit their ideal. Education: · Some College preferred. MUST have a high school diploma or GED. · Have and maintain current Red Cross First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate. · Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English; Spanish, preferred. Experience: · Minimum 3 years of experience preferred. SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION: · Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Some weekends or evening as needed for special events/community events. · 403B available with employer 4% provided after employee puts in 6% · Health, Vision, Dental benefits available. · Compensation reflective of experience and education.
