Perform housekeeping chores, including dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and mopping. Provide transportation to work, programs, medical appointments, and social activities. Run errands, such as grocery shopping or visiting the laundromat. Serve as a companion and organize engaging activities. Perform all job duties respectfully, aligning with the agencys mission and values. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: Male, to meet privacy requirements for providing personal care to male clients. High School Diploma or equivalent. At least two years of experience providing direct care services to adults with a variety of disabilities. Must be 18 years or older. Certification in First Aid/CPR within 60 days of employment. Maintain a valid Ohio or Michigan drivers license with a good driving record, adequate insurance, and willingness to use a personal vehicle for work. Basic computer skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to pass a drug test and background check. Physical Requirements: Standing for prolonged periods. Lifting up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance or mechanical lift. Pushing and pulling objects up to 35 lbs. Stooping, reaching, and balancing as required for tasks.
