Position Summary:

Position Summary:
Within the NDT Research and Development team, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for system test design, planning, and oversight of test execution on a variety of system products which are comprised of electronic and electro- mechanical components with embedded software control. The systems typically leverage common components including host application software (running on a windows PC) that provides the primary user interface with high level system coordination. The systems are sold to customers working in support of the Non-Destructive Testing industry.
Position Responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting design verification of new product design, development, and transfer of the resultant design to manufacturing along with process compliance to regulatory requirements.

* Leads product design teams through system Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities

**Qualifications:**
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment;
+ OR equivalent military education and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical or mechanical equipment;
+ OR High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
+ Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner.

**Third-Party Product Launch Enablement**
**Lead the end-to-end launch of third-party products into GE HealthCare's mammography ecosystem.**
+ Serve as the primary liaison between external partners, internal stakeholders, and global commercial teams.
+ Coordinate with Global Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure launch readiness.
**Global Mammography AI Demo Strategy**
+ Serve as an expert for SmartMammo, AI, and future roadmap technologies.
+ Capture and synthesize customer feedback to inform product strategy and roadmap evolution.
**Service Engineering Collaboration**
+ Engage with Service Engineering teams to understand field challenges and drive resolution.
+ Lead change management initiatives to convert customers, improve serviceability and reduce downtime.
+ Translate service insights into actionable product improvements.
+ Accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
+ Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

**Required Qualifications**
+ This role requires experience in Engineering/Technology or Clinical Applications. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
+ 8+ years of experience in product management, service operations, or commercial enablement.
+ Strong understanding of AI in medical imaging and digital health workflows.
+ Experience working with cross-functional global teams
+ Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
+ Experience launching healthcare or imaging products, especially involving third-party integrations.
+ Proven leadership skills driving programs in a complex environment to deliver on business goals

**Job Description**
Essential Responsibilities :
- Under supervision, evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs; as assigned, perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations. Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation, as guided.
- Maintain daily communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. As instructed, implement GE/customer facility contract, supporting business goals and objectives.
- May assist more experienced technicians on progressive repairs and resolution. Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
- Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. Maintain approved parts inventory. Manage vendor's service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies, as instructed.
- Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration. Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment formal instruction.

As a Magnetic Resonance Research Scientist, you will:
+ Apply knowledge and experience in MR physics, mathematics, engineering and chemistry to conceptualize and prototype novel MR systems and software solutions that address key clinical needs.
+ Develop next-generation MRI sub-systems with enhanced capabilities, and associated applications that leverage them. Examples are in high-performance gradient coils, RF coils, receiver sub-systems, gradient drivers, etc.
+ Determine the impact of systems hardware performance on image quality and safety.
+ Develop algorithmic and/ or systems hardware solutions for MR-guided therapy and interventional applications.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Ph.D. degree in Physics, Medical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, or other related fields, with at least 4 years of research experience.
+ A demonstrated record of research and development as evidenced by peer-reviewed conference proceedings and journal publications.
+ Strong fundamentals in MR imaging physics, electromagnetic theory, and MR hardware sub-systems.
