    Eaton's Electrical North American Sales division is currently seeking a District Sales Director for Southern California which includes Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County and Hawaii. This position will be based within Southern California. Travel up to 25% is required. Relocation assistance will be provided. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, West Region, the District Sales Director is responsible for directing all sales activities to achieving performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans. This position requires coaching, directing and training sales professionals in their respective assignments to succeed at managing and developing their customer base, leveraging internal and external sales resources, driving products and the channel to market to achieve market share gains, supporting price attainment goals and executing strategic initiatives throughout the district. In this role you will: * Develop financial and strategic commercial sales plans that align to product divisions that result in a coordinated selling effort to exceed annual sales goals and objectives * Establish new and build on existing relationships with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume and customer service * Build organizational capabilities across a district sales team along with enterprise-wide resources to deliver organic growth. Analyze areas of responsibility, recommending changes in sales force structure and design, assignments and selling activities to produce maximum, profitable volume, while achieving the best cost to sales ratio * Plan, direct, and drive the sales resources to ensure that adequate coverage is applied to accounts * Understand not only ours but our competitor's products, tactics, strategy, pricing, and competitive position in the district * Create and execute strategic plans including the implementation of strategic channel and product line initiatives * Build close relationships with key contractors, distributors and end users to enhance sales volume and deliver growth * Identify, analyze, select, and continuously improve the districts various channels to market * Recruit, hire, train, develop, and continuously improve organizational capabilities of sales personnel Qualifications: * Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales and Marketing within commercial electrical product market * Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team, directly or indirectly * Proven Leadership experience managing sales teams, customers and channel * Proven track record of leading large-scale business development initiatives, driving sales growth, expanding market share, and achieving pricing objectives across diverse markets. * An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required * Must have and maintain an unrestricted driver's license * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
