**What you'll do:**
The Spray Painter sands, cleans, masks, and paints all Terra-Tran units, Power units, field returns, and fabricated components which require final finishing. All units must be painted before final inspection.
**In this function, you will:**
+ Prepare all surfaces to be sprayed properly. This includes bare metal areas and the proper sanding, and feather edging of previously painted surfaces.
+ Be knowledgeable as to what bushings and associated transformer accessories must be masked to prevent them from being painted.
+ Check the Bills of Material for correct color and specified mull thickness. Record serial number of units repainted and affixes to unit for identification.
+ Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, and air and fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.
+ Paint viscosity at the beginning of the shift and at mid-shift, uses a Zahn cup and stopwatch to check paint viscosities when required.
+ Check and maintain proper fluid and air pressure in pressure pots used for spraying all special colors.
+ Check units with great care to ensure that no areas have been missed.
+ Change filters and maintain the cleanliness of spray booth associates floor areas on a scheduled basis.
+ Clean and lubricate all spray guns at the end of the shifts. Clean and maintain personal respirator on a scheduled basis.
+ Procure all paints from Paint Room as needed, using hand cart and barrel truck.
+ Operate 15,000 lb. electric walker to move smaller units into spray booth.
+ Coordinate with crane operator all moves of large units in and out of the spray booth.

**What you'll do:**
The General Laborer/ Production Support Operator will complete various tasks to support the production of transformer coils.
**In this function, you will:**
+ Prepare, collect, and distribute to operators all materials required to wind coils.
+ Perform a variety of direct and indirect tasks to optimize product flow and maximize the productivity of the coil winders.
+ Verify that issued materials are the proper size/part number and check for damage and proper quantity.
+ Return all unused materials to their designated locations ensuring that materials are properly marked so that inventory accuracy is maintained. Move finished coils to proper oven area.
+ Operate several machines for sizing, cutting, and drilling materials used in the winding process.
+ Assemble kits for coil orders and fills bins of stock coil materials.
+ Squeeze coils with hydraulic jacks or press. Load and unload coils on to conveyor and pallets or proper rack to bake in industrial ovens.
+ Set-up, load, and operate a core machine, which includes a repeated repetitive motion of stacking multiple sizes of sheet metal into a core. Checking material for damage and proper size using a micrometer and tape measure.

What you'll do:
The Production Welder operates a mig welding machine and air grinder, assembling and welding tank covers, nut guards, doors, risers/sills, production orders, switch module cubicle components, and single/three phase cubicle components. The operator checks parts against prints to ensure proper dimensions and locations. The welder is responsible for proper fit and appearance of finished parts, according to quality specifications.
In this function, you will:
* Determine if material is to specs, check prints for E.C.O.'s N.C.R.'s, etc., and for latest revisions.
* Set-up material in positioner, jig, or fixtures. Make simple layouts when required.
* Weld or stud weld various types of hardware to the part being built.
* Tack weld part, adjusting wire feed for proper size weld seam.
* Grind excess weld and trim edges for fit of parts and appearance.
* Operate crane, electric stacker, and other mechanical assists to move, position, and unload heavy parts and assemblies.
* Operate oxyacetylene cutting/carbon arc torch and replace mig torch body, lever switch, and hoses from wire feed to torch body.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* High school graduate or GED is required from an accredited institution.
* One of the below is required:
* Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience in an Eaton facility
* Welding certification OR current enrollment in a Welding Program with an anticipated completion date in 2026 from an accredited institution
