Job Summary The Ramp Services Supervisor oversees and coordinates ramp services operations, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and company standards. Manages staffing, training, and performance, including hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintains communication with airport officials and customers, monitors work quality, enforces TSA regulations, and ensures budgetary adherence. Promotes a respectful and equitable work environment while upholding operational excellence. Responsibilities Monitors the quantity and quality of work performance of assigned Air logistics personnel. Directs personnel within assigned functional area. Participates in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates. Proactively monitors the work of assigned ramp employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Maintains and controls all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA requirements. Ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and contractual agreements. Reads, understands and clarifies the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge. Administers practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. 1 year of related ramp supervisory experience and/or training. Valid driver's license. Preferred Skills Previous logistics, manufacturing, warehousing experience that relied heavily on managing a structured process with strict deadlines Familiarity with personal computer software is helpful. Independent judgment and decision-making skills are required. Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills. Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
