At Carlsbad Educational Foundation (CEF), the Enrichment Instructor will be highly skilled and have the ability and capacity to teach students a given specialty by immersing them in hands-on enrichment lessons. Classes are held on Carlsbad Unified School District campuses after school dismissal. Classes typically range from 1-1.5 hours, from 1 to 5 days a week. All position responsibilities must be performed in accordance with city, state, federal and Company policy.

ENRICHMENT INSTRUCTOR COORDINATOR DUTIES
• Teach after-school enrichment class once or multiple times a week for 5 - 10 weeks at a time in topics including but not limited to: languages, sports, art, performance, cooking, STEM, coding, and/or technology.
• Develop and facilitate a full syllabus with lesson plans for enrichment activities that are approved by the Enrichment Manager and meet the needs of the program and students.
• Manage students' check-in and out of the program and follow all program protocol as instructed.
• Source and secure materials, track expenses and submit reimbursements where necessary.
• Use proper safety protocols for indoor and outdoor settings by clearly defining safety expectations.
• Have basic knowledge of age-appropriate classroom and behavior management skills - Staff members routinely and effectively use classroom management techniques like setting expectations, appropriate consequences, attention-getters, and incentives.
• Effectively communicates verbally and in writing information that is critical to the successful operations of the program, including accidents, injuries, and behavior issues.
• Other work duties as assigned by management.

Summary/Objective
The Austin Company performs design-build work for industrial and specialized commercial markets.
