1. Protect the physical and mental health and safety of our children and no child is left alone or unsupervised while under our care. (HSPPS §1302.90)
2. Implement nutrition services that are culturally and developmentally appropriate, meet the nutritional needs of and accommodate the feeding requirements of each child, including children with special dietary needs and children with disabilities. (HSPPS §1302.44)

The Childhood Development Center Educator, also known as a Day Care Worker, plays a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in the CARC daycare setting. They create a safe and nurturing
environment where children can learn, grow and develop essential skills.
Hours: Full-Time
Responsibilities
Provide a safe and secure environment for children in the daycare center.
Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities and programs that promote child development in areas such as language, social-emotional skills, cognitive abilities and physical growth.
Engage with children in play-based learning activities that foster creativity, problem- solving and self-expression.
Establish positive and supportive relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Ensure the well-being of every child by monitoring their health, safety and dietary needs.
Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly.
Observe and document children's behaviors, growth and milestones to inform parents and caregivers of their child's progress.
Collaborate with other daycare team members to plan and coordinate daily routines, schedules and special events.
Attend to children's personal needs, including feeding, diapering and naptime.
Uphold all daycare policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and following licensing regulations.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass all required background checks.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong passion and dedication for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents and colleagues.
Patience, compassion and a nurturing nature.
Ability to create engaging and stimulating activities for children of different ages and developmental stages.
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a childcare setting.
First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of children and their families.
