Carmeuse company history timeline

1992

Established in North America since 1992, Carmeuse has expanded its offerings and geographic footprint through a series of acquisitions.

1995

The first steps of Carmeuse on the African continent were made in 1995.

2000

The company became a public company in 2000 when parent company Semco Technologies Inc. began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange.

2003

In 2003, Rodolphe Collinet becomes the new CEO of Carmeuse.

2007

In July 2007, the company acquired the business of Stanco Projects Ltd.

2008

During the following years, Carmeuse consolidates its leading position in the North American market, after making the largest acquisition in its history in 2008.

2017

On May 19, 2017, Carmeuse acquired STT Enviro Corp., and shortly after the company ceased to be a public company.
