Projects may include new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, corporate commercial and science and technology. HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform designs of ductwork, piping, equipment selection for HVAC systems for building design, independently for smaller/less technical projects; under the supervision of a professional engineer for complex projects. As necessary assist with Plumbing and Fire Protection Designs.
Calculate heating and cooling loads, layout and design ductwork and piping using energy modeling software.
Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings of HVAC systems from schematic design to construction administration phases including layout, sketches and detail drawings as required. As necessary perform Revit/BIM modeling for plumbing and fire protection systems.
Edit specifications relating to existing or new projects.
Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handling units.
Review shop drawings for compliance of specifications and contract documents.
Interface effectively with clients and members of the project team by attending Owner, Architect, Construction Administration (OAC) meetings in conjunction with project budget.
May independently research as need arises and respond to emergent issues.
Assists in gathering information to respond to RFI's and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents.
Perform job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site.
May direct activities of staff with less experience.
Perform other duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required. Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.
EIT/FE in the United States preferred.

The salary range for this position is $67,365.00 to $79,230.00 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. Essential Functions:
Inspects, maintains, and repairs Diesel engines, Gas Engines, refrigeration units, and all systems/components related to heavy-duty tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
Performs and interprets diagnostic testing to determine malfunctions on all equipment types.
Performs daily inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment and follow-up on driver's write-ups to make repairs as necessary.
Performs general cutting and welding as necessary.
Makes road calls to repair equipment as necessary.
Assists in the repair of shop equipment including garage doors and all power tools.
Determines if rolling stock is safe to operate or needs to be serviced.
Completes all reporting accurately and promptly and communicates the status of current assignments to management.
Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
Operates all equipment safely and efficiently.
Drives vehicles and moves equipment in, out, and around the shop.
Delivers and/or picks up techs at vendors when equipment needs additional service.

The Fleet Technician performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components, vehicle bodies and control systems, hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train and steering systems. Work Schedule: Full-time: Monday - Friday; occasional weekend work.
Starting Pay: Starting at $25-30 per hour (with overtime opportunities)
Primary Responsibilities
Repairs and required preventive maintenance of tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment.
Run road calls to complete repairs on the road, if necessary.
Observes and listens to trucks and other equipment in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures. Also conducts fleet check weekly on all fleet equipment including checking mileage, fluid levels, belts, tires, leaks, and cab inspection.
Drives repaired trucks or other vehicle to verify conformance to specifications.
Inspects tires, DOT inspections and general appearance of vehicles and corrects any problems.
Examines refrigeration units and makes any necessary repairs to electrical and diesel operation as needed.
Maintains checklist of all repairs made on each truck and keeps accurate equipment files.
Keeps service truck stocked sufficiently to facilitate road calls.
Always keeps work area in clean working order.
Assists outside vendors on yard fleet inspections/maintenance.
Logs maintenance and repairs in shop software.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintains quality appearance as outlined in PDC employee handbook.
Attends all meetings, seminars, and training scheduled by management.
Must maintain a Class-A Commercial Driver's License.
Requirements
At least 2 to 5 years' experience as a diesel mechanic working on commercial trucks and/or combined years of experience plus successful completion of technical training
Strong knowledge of CUMMINS software systems
Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
Ability to work well with others.
Safety minded.
Sound computer knowledge and ability to learn new software
Have a current Commercial Driver's License, preferred.
MS office experience and the ability to communicate electronically.
Must have your own tools.
The Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to move around tight, low areas when repairing trucks and other equipment.
Able to adeptly use hand and air tools, including wrenches, drills, and grinders.
Able to occasionally move up to 100 lbs.

Job Summary
The Mechanic is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and operation of golf course equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role works closely with the Head Mechanic, performing repairs, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. The Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall performance of the golf course maintenance department.
Reporting Structure
• Reports to the Equipment Manager
Day to Day
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment as directed by the Head Mechanic/Equipment Manager.
• Repair and maintain golf course maintenance equipment, addressing complex issues and ensuring equipment reliability under the direction of the Head Mechanic and/or Equipment Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for equipment repairs and ensure tools are securely stored.
• Document equipment repairs and replacement parts purchases as instructed.
• Help manage inventory levels of petroleum products, replacement parts, and shop supplies per guidelines.
• Provide recommendations to the Head Mechanic or Equipment Manager regarding the need for new or replacement capital equipment.
• Assist in training grounds staff on the safe and proper operation of maintenance equipment. • Ensure daily assignments are completed to club standards, including keeping the course free of trash and debris.
Additional Duties
• Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
