Position Overview Carole Fabrics is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of our Augusta facility. This role requires a strategic thinker and servant leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position Overview The Tunnel Machine Operator is responsible for using the PFAFF Tunnel Machine to sew soft shades according to work tickets. The role requires sewing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. Operators must work safely, handle materials, and keep their work area clean and organized. What you'll do Receive soft shades from Tunnel Preparation for processing. Read and interpret work tickets for special instructions, including shade type and custom requirements. Check the straightness and alignment of each soft shade before beginning sewing. Operate the Pfaff Tunnel Machine to sew soft shades according to specifications. Use tape measures and tools to ensure accuracy in measurements and placement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety and housekeeping protocols. Report any equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs and workflow. Prepare countertop orders and send to countertop supplier. Place email confirmations in Box Job Folder. Finalize and submit order utilizing internal system(s) Work with Account Managers on recurring design changes and P.O. issues that need to be corrected and make sure you use the most up to date information provided by them. Qualifications Experience using basic accounting procedures. Ability to communicate with all varying levels of skilled trades. Ability to understand kitchen/bath layouts and interpret design issues related to final installation. Experience using computer programs including Excel and Microsoft Word Experience working in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
