CAROLINA HANDLING'S INTERN PROGRAM
Our internship program is designed to provide robust corporate internship experience by immersing our intern Associates into our Carolina Handling culture. The program allows students to gain experience and identify career goals. We want to ensure a meaningful experience; part of the program each intern Associate will have a department specific project to work on during their tenure here. The three-month program provides networking opportunities, roundtables, and business acumen training.
The project will align to the department goals with a clear end goal that can be accomplished within approximately 8 weeks during the internship program. At the end of the internship, the intern Associate will report out on the project to department leadership, our Executive Committee and the Intern Support Team.
The Internship Program will run from May 2026 to August 2026, with specific dates to be finalized once intern Associates are selected.
INTERN SUMMARY & PROJECT
The Supply Chain Automation Intern will focus on process improvement by mapping and streamlining the handoff between sales, project coordination, and project management, identifying communication gaps and opportunities for efficiency. This hands-on project includes shadowing cross-functional teams, documenting workflows, and potentially contributing to lean initiatives.

Maintain and supervise medication administration, medication ordering, medication count of controlled substances, and charting for each resident.
Train resident care staff on emergency procedures to follow regarding fire, disaster, and resident incident and care issues.
Ensure proper staff coverage. Assume and arrange for on-call responsibilities and respond to calls of an emergency nature from resident and/or supervisor on duty as needed even if reporting to work is necessary to assess the situation.
Follow all policies and procedures, model relationship and leadership abilities, and work cooperatively and supportively with the residents, family members and friends, professionals, Administrator, department heads, supervisors, and all other staff.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Director of Resident Care Services.
Must be willing and able to take on-call duty and be available by telephone during on-call periods.

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Tech II assists all maintenance personnel in the short term, preventative and emergency maintenance programs for the buildings, grounds and equipment at the campus. JOB SUMMARY

• Administers and manages IT Helpdesk Support system, including tracking issues to resolution within established benchmarks, updating knowledgebase, and communicating solutions to users and other IT team members.
• Administer and maintain system user access and permissions: user account profiles, file, and share permissions, and installing approved software applications on user computers.
• Monitors and ensures all servers and applications are fully patched with applicable updates, focusing on security patching.
• Maintains IT hardware inventory records, ensuring that inventory is checked in and checked out for accurate inventory control.
• This is a continuous learning position; classes, webinars, and certifications are provided to ensure that our department stays ahead of technology and can better leverage that technology to improve the organization
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED
• Two-year associate degree in information technology or computer Science or comparable educational degree with 2+ years of appropriate experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to work in a high-paced working environment with frequent interface with customers (internal and external) and vendors. Must be able to adapt to a busy office environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of information flow while remaining professional at all times. The Associate is occasionally exposed to a machine shop environment and hazards from equipment movement. This position may require overnight travel by car.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Management of design development, preparation and/or administration of the contract documents, costs estimates, agency correspondence, client relations, staff supervision and mentoring. Work directly with clients to advance master plans/ small area/corridor plans, develop site plans, manage the entitlement processes, and implement improvements.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
A degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning from an accredited program.
Professional registration as a Landscape Architect or Certified Planner.
A minimum of 5 or more years of professional land planning / Landscape Architecture experience with a diverse and dynamic portfolio.
Ability to effectively communicate with strong freehand illustrations and rendering skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD/FX Works, Photoshop and Sketch Up.
Excellent financial management skills.

Experience working with local codes, ordinances and public agency standards related to land development design and related entitlement processes.
