This role is required to work safely and productively in an industrial maintenance environment. Performs and assists in the dismantling of defective machines and equipment and installation of new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Helps assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and helps repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Operates cutting torch and/or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Climbs stairways and catwalks to perform duties. Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing products and supplies manually.
