Job Summary:

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Packaging Trainee with a proven track record to join our team. We are the leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry. Qualifications:
Ability to learn and apply specific quality standards
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Identify and separate poor quality parts
Pack molded parts into boxes
Lift and carry full boxes of parts from molding machine to pallet (approx. 2 feet)
Label boxes
Assemble molded parts
Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards
Barcode parts correctly
Adjust case erectors and case sealers as needed
Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform all job duties
work effectively and efficiently with coworkers
Productively receive information from Material Handlers regarding work related information
Troubleshoot packaging machine
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
