In addition, it offers knee and hip center, life line, maternity, oncology, orthopedic, outpatient IV therapy, pastoral care, pharmacy, physician referral, pre-anesthesia, sleep lab, spiritual care, sports medicine, and stroke center services, as well as physical, occupational, and speech language rehabilitation services. Carondelet Health System, Inc. was formerly known as Health Care Corporation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and changed its name to Carondelet Health System, Inc. in March 1992. The company was founded in 1980 and is based in Kansas City, Missouri. As of December 6, 2002, Carondelet Health System, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Ascension Health, Inc.
