Compensation:

Responsibilities:
Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions
Calculate, shape, cut, and smooth materials
Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements
Oversee an entire project's carpentry work. This includes the pre-planning, drafting, ordering of materials, construction, and finishing phases of a project. (Other phases, such as demolition and plumbing, are handled by other crews.)
Ensure your work on the job site is organized and tidy so all team members can do their jobs safely and efficiently.
Determine the appropriate materials and supplies necessary for each project.
Complete all finish-carpentry tasks with the highest level of detail and quality.
Provide updates to Project Managers on project timelines and as tasks are completed.
Qualifications:
Strong measuring and math skills required
Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
High school diploma or GED preferred
Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship

Job SummaryCountertop Installer for our field team for a growing company in Syracuse. Full-time, year-round position with occasional overtime and room for growth! This position involves travel with multiple stops a day in a company vehicle. Typically install crews consist of 2 or 3-person teams that install kitchen and bathroom countertops. This position is Monday through Thursday, with a reporting time of 7:00 A.M. and working until the jobs are completed. Fridays are scheduled on a sign-up basis.*Pay is competitive and based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Load/unload trucks with countertops, equipment, and other related products for the installation
Perform countertop installation according to company specifications and requirements in a timely manner
Responsible for safely handling all products and tools
Lift products safely using proper techniques, tools provided, and communication with partner
Maintain trucks in a neat and organized manner
Provide a professional and pleasant customer experience
Communicate with office staff if any issues or delays occur
Experience Required
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Valid NYS Driver's License that is maintained
Acceptable background check
Ability to lift and carry 100lbs on a frequent basis
