Job Overview
The incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry duties as assigned. Carpentry services include, but are not limited to, the design, construction, installation and repair of wooden fixtures and structures such as cabinets, furniture, shelving, doors, plaques, and other custom wood products. Other duties include, but are not limited to, framing and finish work, painting, staining, etc. Monitors subcontractor performance as assigned, conducts jobsite troubleshooting and performs primary project layout and carpentry production.
Pay Rate: $35.69/hourly

* Uses a variety of hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
* Respond to emergency site maintenance as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
· Able to complete onsite millwork, cabinet and countertop, fixture, graphic and décor installs in commercial and retail environments.

· Able to receive, stage and manage large inventory of millwork and fixture parts for distribution and installation.

The Roofing Carpenter performs general roofing maintenance including minor repairs. This role is inclusive of lightning protection inspections and associated minor repairs. **Work Environment**

Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for building, installing, and repairing structural woodwork and other materials across our residential properties. The ideal candidate has strong woodworking experience, a team-oriented attitude, and a commitment to high-quality resident service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair a range of items including cabinetry, insulation, drywall, tile, and trim.
Rebuild and install doors, windows, and cabinets.
Cut, shape, measure, and alter materials as needed.
Perform drywall work and incidental touch-up painting following repairs.
Support team members in completing service requests and unit turnovers.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
Respond to resident work orders and checklist deficiencies promptly.
Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working order.
Participate in snow removal, salting, and pretreating during winter weather events.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols, Fair Housing regulations, and company policies.
Provide your own tools to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

Furnish all hand tools and small power tools as necessary to complete job.
Be polite and courteous to the client, subcontractors and co-workers; and conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
Follow jobsite safety procedures. Identify and point out unsafe conditions to the Project Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.

Expertise in cabinet making and installation as well as trim installation
