Our company specializes in high-quality residential remodels, including kitchens, bathrooms, full-home renovations, new construction, and ongoing property maintenance. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, professionalism, and a client-first approach.
Finish carpentry involves the detailed, aesthetic final touches in construction, focusing on visible woodwork like molding, trim, cabinets, and staircases, transforming a basic structure into a polished, functional, and beautiful space, requiring high precision and an eye for design after rough framing is complete. This specialized skill adds character through elements such as crown molding, baseboards, door/window casings, wainscoting, built-in shelves, and custom cabinetry, enhancing both beauty and property value.
Key Aspects of Finish Carpentry
+ **Focus on Aesthetics:** Unlike rough carpentry (framing), finish carpentry is all about the fine details and final look of a space, adding charm and defining the home's style.

Role of a Finish Carpenter
+ **Precision Craftsmanship:** Ensuring all joints are tight, surfaces are smooth, and details are perfect.
+ **Design Integration:** Making sure all the detailed elements harmonize with the overall look and feel of the home.
+ **Project Management:** Often involves client communication, managing invoices, and material tracking, especially for self-employed professionals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform high-quality carpentry work, with an emphasis on finish carpentry.

+ Interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors.
+ Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
+ Travel to project locations primarily in Los Altos and Palo Alto, with occasional work across the South Bay and Peninsula.

+ Ability to read plans, follow instructions, and problem-solve independently.
+ Strong communication skills in English.
+ Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
+ Ability to lift materials, use tools safely, and work in various jobsite conditions.
+ Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Extensive experience with finish carpentry skills, especially in cabinetry and bathroom remodels.
+ Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and a variety of saws.
+ Ability to drive own truck from San Jose to Palo Alto.
+ Preference for candidates in the immediate South Bay, including San Jose, Campbell, Peninsula, and Fremont regions.
+ Understanding of blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience in working with subcontractors (electrical, paint, plumbing, etc.) is a bonus.
+ Exceptional client interfacing skills and high emotional intelligence.
