Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team full-time on-site in Philadelphia, PA. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks across multiple construction projects, including framing, finish carpentry, and the proficient use of power and hand tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring that all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Physical Demands: Duties require the incumbent to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, work in uncomfortable positions, and possibly walk over rough, uneven terrain. Working Conditions: Work is typically performed in both indoor workshops and outdoor work sites. Depending on the geography of the park unit assigned, work may take place at elevations ranging from sea level up to 10,000 feet. The incumbent is exposed to sawdust, noise, fumes, vibration, cuts, and abrasions from the use of tools and equipment, and may occasionally be exposed to hazardous materials that can cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation and burns, as well as microbiological organisms and potentially hazardous wildlife. Foreman/Supervision:

Finishing Work:

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with 5 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.

• Experience with project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
