In this role, you'll perform skilled carpentry work across all phases of residential remodeling, framing, finish work, and everything in between. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, contributing your expertise to create beautiful, lasting spaces for clients.

Pay Range: $34-$45/hour, based on experience

Compensation:
$30 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
Perform framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry on residential remodeling projects.
Support the Lead Carpenter in daily site operations, setup, and coordination.
Assist with material takeoffs, ordering, and inventory management to ensure workflow continuity.
Perform minor exterior repairs, including siding patches, exterior trim, windows, doors, and small roof repairs as needed.
Participate in daily jobsite start-up and close-down procedures, including safety checks and documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
Mentor and assist less experienced carpenters and apprentices in proper techniques and company standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
Assist with move-in and project closeout, including punch lists and client transition.
Uphold company safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications:
5+ years of residential carpentry experience, including framing and finish work.
Solid understanding of construction sequencing and attention to detail.
Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email).
Experience with JobTread, BuilderTrend, or similar project management software strongly preferred.
OSHA-10 required; RRP and CSL a plus.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and your own tools.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, climb, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Attention to detail in maintaining organized, clean, and safe worksites.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYSupervises and provides work directions to carpenter's assistants and subcontractors on job site. Must be comfortable overseeing a job site as a representative of the general contractor.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe position requires lifting heavy objects, walking, and standing for extended periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The work will be performed on and off the jobsite which requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, reach, carry, lift, grasp, squat or stoop, bend, and twist the body while performing essential duties. The position requires using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time. The work will be performed indoors and outdoors in all seasons, including harsh weather conditions.

Key Sub Tasks
Build and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures
Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, and interior, and exterior trims
Drywall Repair / Patching
Inspect ceiling, floor tile, wall coverings, and woodwork to detect broken or damaged structure
Desired Skills and Experience
Excellent Customer Service
CSL license preferred
Demolition experience
Knowledge of Construction related power tools
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000-$90,000, based on responsibilities, experience, and other relevant factors. Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other variable compensation depending on their position. Total compensation is determined through a structured review considering experience, education, certifications, and licenses.
