What You Will Do Carpenter Essential Functions: Install, maintain, and repair walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, doors, hardware, and laminate. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building interiors as needed. Regularly use power tools and lift heavy or bulky items. Utilize the Work Order System to manage repair requests and preventive maintenance tasks. Ensure all systems comply with local codes. Maintain a valid driver's license. Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and pumps. Purchase and inventory equipment and supplies. Estimate time and materials required for projects. Erect scaffolding and use ladders safely in compliance with safety codes. Store and label materials safely. Adhere to state and local disposal requirements for hazardous materials. Respond to routine and emergency service calls, documenting completed work in the work order system. Complete tasks efficiently as directed by the People Leader.
