Specific Responsibilities:



Be proficient in drywall, painting, cabinetry, framing, trim and everything construction related Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner Respond to water and fire losses and perform reconstruction according to building standards and Rainbow International's process Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork Maintain all company equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times Show up clean and ready to work Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:



Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required Valid Driver's License Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications Excellent communication skills

What You Can Expect

As a Carpenter - After Paint Installer, you will focus on installing wire shelving, showers doors, mirrors, and bath/kitchen hardware in the home. You would be completing final touches before the homeowner would move into the home.

  • Load/unload materials
  • Follow shelving template to cut material and pre-drill holes and fasten closet shelves to the wall
  • Install shower door kits and custom shower doors
  • Measure and mount mirror(s) to the wall ensuring they are level
  • Fasten and attach hardware to cabinets in kitchens and/or bathrooms
  • Communicate directly to the customer/builder when necessary
To Be Successful
  • Experience is a plus but willing to train.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
  • Valid driver's license

The multi-skilled tradesman is responsible for providing general assistance in all aspects of carpentry such as drywall, rough and finish, painting and general construction.
