Load In/Load Out/Carpenter Crew Starting Arts runs about 45 shows a year - 75% of them are “Cafeteria” shows in elementary-middle school cafeterias (simplified set and tech elements), 25% of them are “In-House” productions that are performed in professional theater venues (intense set and tech design). Starting Arts is a youth theatre company, so you will mostly be loading in and out of schools and potentially interacting with children. The Load In/Load Out/Carpenter Crew member is responsible for moving technical equipment, set, costumes, and props in and out of a venue, and constructing the set when required. This position involves working closely with the Production Manager and Technical Director. Key Responsibilities: Load-in and Load-out Help: Move items from our storage into the truck and vice versa.
