The Opportunity
The Customer Service Specialist contributes to the profitability of the Ally Insurance Team. The Specialist provides policy assistance and claim inquiry support on GAP and vehicle service contract program and other insurance programs (Tire - Wheel, etc.) to dealers, repair facilities, retail customers and financial institutions.
The Work Itself
Efficiently connect with the caller to acquire pertinent information to resolve GAP and vehicle service contract inquires.
Assist customers with their policy and claim questions and concerns and provide a resolution.
Document customer interactions and decisions made.
Go the extra mile to engage the customer to achieve total customer satisfaction.
Communicate information successfully, keep appropriate parties advised.
Follow all internal, state and UDAAP guidelines.
Have a focus on quality.
This is an entry level hybrid role - 3 days in office / 2 days remote.
The Skills You Bring
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields is preferred.
High school diploma required.

The Role

Write and upkeep code that is efficient, reusable, dependable, and abides by modern software design principles.
Own the end-to-end UI/UX process: from wireframing and prototyping to implementation.
Guarantee peak performance, rendering, and responsiveness of AI Services solutions.
Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate or eliminate these issues.
Help to preserve code quality, organization, and automation.
Write and define software bugs, enhancements, and story tickets in a software issue-tracking system.
Collaborate with Product Specialists and Quality Assurance Testers to effectively.
Write documentation in the form of how-to guides to get other stakeholders familiar with the products you develop.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree or similar work experience.
CS/DS/EE/CE Degree or similar experience.
1-2 years of experience with object-oriented programming.
1-2 years of strong programming experience with one of the following: C++, C#, Java.
Experience with relational databases.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience with modern web development frameworks (React preferred).
Experience with design tools such as Figma (or similar) for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
Familiarity with AI systems, algorithms, and subdomains (time-series, classifications, clustering, anomaly, etc.).
Experience with Consolidation Software, such as: OneStream, HFM, SAP BOFC, SAP, IBM Cognos, etc.
Recent focus on Microsoft technologies.

Founded in 1999, we have helped over 4,000 students experience success, and have 18 campuses in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington.
As we continue to add new campuses and see increased demand for our services, adding an established Talent Acquisition Manager has become a priority. This position will be based out of our Northfield, IL campus with flexibility for remote work 1 day a week.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Managing the Full Cycle recruitment process for several campuses across 2-3 states at a time.
Sourcing and outreach to potential candidates through various recruiting platforms
Open communication with hiring managers as well as other recruiters to narrow down the needs for each position
Maintain ATS and other reporting tools for accurate data analysis
Summary of requirements
Excellent communication skills, ability to pivot conversations to get information you need
Minimum of 1 year recruiting in an agency or other dedicated recruiting setting OR 2 years in high volume phone based sales or customer service role
Experience hiring high-volume part-time roles is highly preferred
